More routes to market

As well as the larger national and regional wholesalers, we also service over 210 independent wholesalers and believe we offer more routes to market than any other supplier in our sector.

Foods from near and far

And our sourcing policy isn’t just confined to the UK. Import and export is an important part of our service. We currently import products from Holland, France, Hungary and South America and export to Spain, Portugal and Cyprus each week.

Quality all the way

Driving our entire business, however, are our overriding commitments to quality and excellence. We have been awarded the Cmi Q Mark (formerly the TLC Higher Level Certificate of Inspection) consistently each year since 1997, demonstrating our commitment to “due diligence’ from desk to delivery.

Central Foods is proud to be an Associate Member of LACA, the Local Authorities Catering Association, working with schools throughout the UK.

And since 1997, we have also been a member of The British Frozen Food Federation, the industry body set up to address issues affecting the frozen food industry and protect and promote its interests.
